An absurd team up of two unreal European bands. Featuring members of RAEIN and THE DEATH OF ANNA KARINA, Italy's LA QUIETE contribute four tracks of melodic, yet distraught screamy hardcore. Their sound harks back to the early 90's emo scene of bands like MOHINDER, INKWELL, and FRAIL. On the flip side is Germany's LOUISE CYPHRE, who's sound is along the lines of the breakneck insanity that USURP SYNAPSE, JEROMES DREAM, and PAGE NINETY NINE brought to the mix in the late 90's. Crazy change ups, and guitar tones similiar to DAUGHTERS and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.

REVIEWS:

Screaming Bloody Mess (Tim Scott)
Good golly. And I thought the European Union was going to shit? Not the screaming chaotic hardcore side of things at least as this split teams up Italy's La Quiete and Germany's Louise Cyphre, who come up with some full on sounds. Though I’m already a huge fan of La Quite (they do not disappoint) on previous listens to Louise Cyphre I’ve been a little ho hum but on this they almost come to trumping La Quite with all out amazingness that brings to mind the best of early screamo scene- back when it had promise at least. Starting with a cool spoken sample they bust out with spastic, choppy riffs mixed with ultra-technical guitar lines. They sing in German but no need to rush out and get your phrasebook as the have been kind enough to offer English explanations.
