NTC preserve the Kent, Ohio heritage with the ten tracks on their full length "Did You Hear That We Fucked?" Members of THE PARTY OF HELICOPTERS and HARRIET THE SPY combine dark keyboard elements and complex guitarwork alongside plaintive vocals that alternate between spoken and screamed. A considerable amount of acid wit is also thrown into the songs, which have titles such as "give me your e-mail address, i'll send you some sick shit," "with an uzi and a 40oz," and "flying fuck for all." This LP is the long awaited vinyl version of the CD that was released on Troubleman Unlimited many days ago.

Look no further than album opener "Give Me Your E-Mail Address and I'll Send You Some Sick Shit," to hear this is in action. The band almost laughs at social detachment in the form of the internet with the line "It gets old, it's pretty gross, tired, cold. Another diversion from nothing to do, another diversion from missing you." What sets NTC apart from their contemporaries is the band's ability to take their aggression and turn it into mildly amusing lyrical workouts. The band comes off as funny before they have the chance to be bitter. It's more of the same in "Hunks...Did You Call Me a Fag?" Starting out with "Every time I've tried to write this song, I felt so mean, it came out all wrong," it's hard to tell if that line is sincere or not. As the song progresses, the band professes its dislike of frat guys, and all buff guys in general, through a mocking tone, even describing their band as "that fag band New Terror Class." Although much of Did You Hear That We Fucked...? sounds alike, don't let that hold you back from buying this. The band is able to move in new directions from their previous outfits, all the while attacking their targets with a playfully sarcastic voice, and an energy that transcends youthful vigor.
